This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Board Game Snapshot (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Dabbling Badger LLC.
* Dabbling Badger LLC has no affiliation with Board Game Geek (https://www.boardgamegeek.com), but does utilize its web services to attain information on board games and optionally, for syncing user data.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information
The Application does not request, nor attempt to attain any personal information from the end user. Users that wish to utilize Board Game Geek for data syncing may supply their login credentials to the Application. These are stored securely using technologies provided by Apple (see Protection of Personal Data) and used to communicate with Board Game Geek web services.
Automatically Collected Information
Upon permission, the Application will collect crash logs, energy reports, and metric reports that may assist with improving the Application performance and enhancing the experience for the user.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
This Application does not collect information about the location of your mobile device.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government
What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
Crash log data, energy reports, and metric reports may be collected and saved for Application improvement. The Application and Dabbling Badger LLC have no affiliation with Board Game Geek and as such have no control over how information is used once it has been supplied to Board Game Geek. Users that utilize Board Game Geek for data syncing should read Board Game Geeks’ privacy policy.
Children
We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children.
Cookies and other technologies
Cookies and Web browsing
The Application utilizes cookies from Board Game Geek to support data syncing, an optional feature. The Application also provides access to a web browser. Activity on the web browser is not tracked.
Augmented Reality and Images Captured Using Cameras
The Application utilizes machine learning to identify board games from images captured using the camera. All image data is stored temporarily in memory and processed on device. None of this visual information is stored, transmitted, or used in any other way aside from detecting board games. If voluntary sharing of image data is included in future versions of the Application this policy will be updated.
Protection of Personal Data
Although no personal data (name, email, etc.) is currently collected by the Application, protecting other sensitive information such as usernames and passwords is important. The Application utilizes Apple’s encrypted Keychain to safely store login credentials.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via email or text message. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the United States.
